Description

So my friend :iconmetamorro: got me into doing the Pokedex challenge of December. For the 5th of December, the type of Pokemon was fairy-type. So of course I had to go with Mawile. Ive always dug the design of Mawile. For some reason I cannot draw pokemon without making it creepy, or making them look like primal dinosaurs. The head of Mawile, to me, looked like a horned viper, while it's body resembled that of a feathered reptile. It's giant mouth looked like a mix between a gulper eel and a viper fish.

And of course it wouldn't be complete without it brutally eating another pokemon. Originally it was going to be eating Eevee, but then I threw in Pikachu instead for no particular reason.

Enjoy :D

I guess this is the part where I just outright say, "Oh my God, that is o f*cking cool," but allow me to be a bit less crass-sounding. For one, I love the detail with the jaggedness of the huge fangs, the drippiness of the blood, and the bones and ears and Pikachu tail sticking out the teeth! Gruesome, but awesome!! Second, I like how you didn't make the Mawile look too scary, but you certainly made it pretty intimidating. The light tint of red in the eyes really sells it! And for tres, the feathery details along the Mawile's body is so f*cking cool! And let's not forget those talons. He looks so fluffy, but I have a feeling that if I pet him wrong, or if I touch him at all, he'll grind me up in his teeth. I guess one might say that the lack of color is a bit "eh," but f*ck that! The lack of color, excluding the red of blood, mind you, is only adding tot he eerie atmosphere! What else can I say except "beautiful, beautiful, beautiful."
